Getting around Nusa Penida
Most of Nusa Penida is explored by scooter or with a private driver. The roads have improved considerably, but distances take longer than the map suggests.
Scooters
The island the local way, and how most visitors see it.
From 100K per day, delivered to the villa so you do not have to collect anything.
Worth knowing: some roads are still rough, and a few of the routes down to the beaches are steep. If you have not ridden before, this is not the place to learn.
Private driver
For a full day of sightseeing, or if scooters are not for you, we arrange a car and driver.
Up to seven people per car. This is also the easiest option in the rainy season.
Harbour transfers
We arrange transfers between the harbour and your villa.
The cost depends on which harbour you arrive at and which villa you are staying in, so ask us and we will confirm it when you book.
Boat tickets
We book our guests' tickets through Ticketboat at a discounted rate.
Book at least one day ahead.
All of this can be arranged before you arrive. Tell us your dates and we will have it ready.
